About the bed
A bed is where your survivor sleeps to remove the tired moodle and restore rested status, which is important when sleep is enabled or in multiplayer. In base planning it anchors your sleeping quarters and, for multi-survivor setups, determines how many people can rest comfortably in one secure room.
Placement & defense tips
- ▸Put beds in the most interior, best-defended room of the base so a perimeter breach won't catch you sleeping next to a window.
- ▸Keep the bed away from exterior walls and windows where zombie noise could wake or threaten you mid-rest.
- ▸In a multi-survivor base, line up several beds in one fortified room so everyone sleeps behind the same locked, barricaded perimeter.
- ▸Place a bed near your sheet-rope escape window upstairs so a nighttime breach gives you a fast route out.
- ▸Leave a clear floor path from the bed to your weapons and the exit so you're not fumbling through furniture if you wake to a threat.
